Boby Trolley B33 — Joe Colombo

Joe Colombo — B-Line — Italy — 2000s

Designed in 1970 by Italian designer Joe Colombo and originally produced by Bieffeplast, this white Boby Trolley captures the spirit of modular industrial design. Reissued since by B-Line, it remains one of the defining objects of Italian design.

Its injection-moulded ABS body houses a series of drawers and swivelling compartments, mounted on polypropylene castors for complete mobility. Soft, rounded lines and a crisp white finish make it as sculptural as it is practical — equally at home in a creative studio, a living room or a design-led workspace.

The Boby Trolley is today held in the permanent collections of major institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Triennale di Milano.
